Lets talk price of the GTR ...in a few years
So on the way home today...I stopped at the grocery store to pick up a few things...as I pulled into the parking lot I see out of the corner of my eye a Gunmetal gray 2009?GTR...so i pull up like two stalls down and start to observe this creature...I started to sweat and kept on thinking what if I had one...Ive always wanted one but not as bad now..maybe because I am in love with my Z again?Anyways..so i sat there stalking the car for a bit...started calculating my payments,my income,my future obligations, where I want to be in 5 years etc etc...so i came to think about a few things...this is where I want some feedback...
Right now a good deal on a 09 GTR is like 55K-60K?am i right?
So my question....in say 2014-15 what will a 09 GTR with decent mileage sell for realistically?
Am i dreaming if i think 30K?..this would be my daily..for work, gym etc..just like how my Z is now.
Let me know your thoughts if you think Im out to lunch.

I guess a lot would depend on how long Nissan offers them stateside. I mean are they really going to offer them annually for the next 5+ years? If they're only selling them for 5 years then limited number=a better retain in value. Also they are limited so that helps them retain value. Chances are most GT-R owners aren't going to rack up tons of miles either so I'd bet for the most part GT-Rs are going to maintain a 40+k price tag for the next several years. If you can find one in the 30s chances are, imho, it's going to already have 100k on the engine... but what do I know?

I'd have to say that a used GTR will still run in the 50k region...3-5 years from now.
in 10 years a 2010-2012 GTR will sell for around 20-35k depending on mileage and condition.

haha me too angelo! i guess on 3-4 years you could probably pick one up for upper 40k, just look on ebay now, you can already get them around $60k and around 10k miles as long as you hawk ebay for them every day... lol like i do for lots of things.

I would look at the example of the Z32 TT. It has maintained a decent value over the years. When the Z32 TT came out it was insanely expensive for its time. I'm stuck in a hard place right now. I am considering buying either an 09' or 10' model orrr taking the money for the down payment and put an LS2 in my Z.

I might do that. Why not the LS though? I can put down over 400whp and 400wtq with an LS2 with a hotcam and other supporting mods N/A. That would make for a fun car.
I can afford the GT-R the problem is do I want to mod the hell out of it. I had the opportunity to ride in a 600whp GT-R and I was sold!! However, I don't know exactly what it will take price wise to get to 600. I would be happy with the stock 400 whp.
