I can only imagine the hate that will come of this on the Vette forums.

That is not true, any longer. LC5 allows a certain number of launches, then enforces a cool down period. Warranty is maintained. At least that is my understanding... And 60 ft times are in the 1.6x range I believe.

I think the corvette guys are taking it pretty well. There's no denying how impressively the GTR pulls off launches with awd traction and the new launch control program.

Is 1 bar or slightly below stock boost for the GTR?

^^^Not sure about the current generation, but I want to say the first generation R35's were about 12 psi (so less that 1 bar).

You would be wrong then. Being a vette owner myself, the forum members are very respectful where credit is due.

The GT-R, 2013 model mostly, has come up numerous times when it comes to fast cars in stock form and if anything, vette owners very much see the great potential that lies in the GT-R platform.

Anybody, especially a vette owner knows what the ZR1 is capable of both 1/4 mile and trap speed and it's obvious in the video that the ZR1 screwed up the run.

Overall, impressive video? Absolutely. Could it have been better if the ZR1 owner could drive? - ABSOLUTELY

That's pretty quick for the GTR, a higher trap would have been nicer. Z06's hit 10's back in 2006 on drag radials with higher trap speeds.

The 13' models hit mid 10s easy.....the fastest recorded time was set by this dude w/ a '13.....ran a 10.79 bone stock trapping 126 I believe...the later generations didn't go up in power but they focused on throttle response and quicker spool time through the mid range to really get up and go
