+1 I'd be interested to know what he got. Sounds like he had about $80-$100k to spend. I know I personally would look into a used F430 for that money, (manual of course), and maybe even a used Gallardo but I have to imagine it would be too much for me (in the looks category). I've always been a fan of the Aston Martin V8 vantages (manual) which I'm sure you could pick up a cleann used one with low miles for that much coin. Two of my friend's dad's have Porsche 911 Turbo's and they're cool and fast no doubt about it. Personally I couldn't get a GT-R unless it was the older model that had manual trannies. Gotta have the third pedal here. A Viper would be sweet but wouldn't be my choice if I had the money. Maybe hold out for a C7 ZR1? Might need another 20-30k but I'm sure it's gonna be a hell of a car. Could look into a used Audi R8 too but you'd have to go for the V8 instead of the V10. Just some suggestions but I think the OP isn't coming back here. Anyone else know what they would pick up with $100,000 to spend??

Most CPO F430's go for way more than $100K. More like $140K, not beat up, Certified by Ferrari and of course low mileage. Then you need more cash to keep up with the maintenance.

Honestly, i would take the GTR due to the fan base that comes with the car and the fan base that doesn't know much about the car.

People that know the GTR will applaud / respect
And the people that don't will be in for a rude awakening.

However, this if you haven't made your decision yet.

Ahtough this thread was created prior to the C7 Corvette coming out, now that it's out, I think for the money that's the best sports car you can get.

Saw a targa top white C7 zoom by me, it looked unbelievable and the stats are there to back it up. And it still has the precious 3rd pedal and it's become more and more scarce nowadays ...
