Chrome Silver

Due to the popularity of the silverstone thread, i believe that some of the owners of other colors my have felt deprived of not having their own threads dedicated to their Z colors... so i put one up for each of the colors, now everyone can share their 350z pictures...

GREAT IDEA!

I haven't taken any pictures of my car, yet. But you can bet this thread is the first place where I'll put them! I hope to see some soon. I'd especially like to see some pictures of Chrome Silvers with the splash guards since I'm thinking of having them put on soon. Also, I'd like to see some close-up pictures of clear bra installations.

Hello fellow CS Z's - - sorry picture kinda bad but . . .

My Z came from factory with flaps although I didn't order them and didn't have to pay for them, glad I have them now

Nose mask has saved my Z's nose from daily drive down I-4 in Tampa to work - - glad I have it too.

Thanks for the picture of your car. Do you have any with the tinted windows? I'm thinking of having tint put on mine. It'd be nice to see how it looks! What percentage tint did you go with?

Thanks!

Here are a few I snapped in the garage so you can get an idea.. it's pouring rain here, otherwise I would have rolled it out.

Hope this helps.. will post more when the rain goes away.

Wow! The 20% tint looks fabulous! If you get a chance could I see the car outside? Are you having the grease issue on the inside of your window? If so, is it scratching the tint?

Thanks for the pictures! I'm setting up a time to tint my windows!

Thanks, man. Visibility from the inside is not too bad, so that's a definite plus. I had 5% on a previous vehicle and while it looked good, visibility made me grow to hate it. I'm much more satisfied with this. If the weather decides to behave around here tomorrow, I'll grab some outdoor shots for you.

As far as the window grease, it appears that I have been blessed as I have not had this occur yet.

Glad I could aid you in tinting your Z. Please post pictures if possible when you get yours done.

Later,
-S

No window grease?! Wow! You are a lucky guy. I've got grease on both windows, and I'm hesitating to get it "fixed" because a lot of Z owners are experiencing more problems after the fix! I'll definitely post some pictures once I get the tinting done. Thanks for all your assistance. I hope the weather clears up for you, soon! From Missouri? I hope you were spared the damaging storms!

One more thing...I noticed you replaced your sub and amp but not the head unit. How does this set up sound? I am so disappointed with the Bose system that my next investment after the tinting will be a sound system, but I can't spend the money some Z owners are sticking into their cars! your solution seems reasonable but also maintains a good sound. Yes?

outside (sunny)

Here is a pic of my car the day I got it tinted (somewhat sunny day in Feb). Note: I haven't put the clears or short antenna yet. No scratches on tint and I haven't gotten much grease on the windows.

PS - Folks in ATL go to Hot Spot Tinting!

jesperanza,

SWEET! SWEET! SWEET! Thanks so much for the pictures! Your car looks outstanding. I like the elegance the tinting gives the car. 20% seems like just the right amount. I'm still worried about this window grease issue. I'd hate to have the tinting put on then have it get scratched by the window mechanism. have any of you had the clear bra put on? If so, please post close up pictures.

its not the grease that scratches the tint, its that after they try to fix it, they mess somethign else up, and that scratches it! sometimes i guess they just dont konw what theyre doin.....
