Wow that top looks bad!! How in the world did you get a Robbins top for 375 shipped!! Is it brand new with a warranty? Can you post a link to the seller or your auction if there are others available. These Robbins tops usually go for close to 800 from what i remember.

I bought it off ebay with warranty card. It was fitted on a car and insurance wouldnt pay for it because it was black, so it looks new to me there was no stains/rips/ or folds of actual use.

I was using machines but thats not the cause. Thing is the heat from Las Vegas makes vynil really flexible and weak and when the frame rubbed it slowly started tearing it up. It started in February and just got worse every month and 10 months later looks new again hahahaha

I heard that using the machines breaks up the seals of our tops as well that can cause them to have leaks or louder due to more air getting in. I don't know if this is true I just never took a chance with the automatic wash. Plus I enjoy working on the car spending some quality time with it.

Hey guys, I need some help.
I recently went on a nice weekend vacation only to find Monday morning that some crackhead *KNIFED* my otherwise pristine roof all to hell over the driver side. Whoever it was just wanted to find something to sell. Lucky, I still have stock audio and I don't keep anything in the car. He took my antenna for his troubles... but that's neither here nor there.
I got a check cut by my insurance for it today, but I am NOT going to pay $1500 for a top and $1200 (!!!) for labor like I've been quoted. Not because I'm cheap, but because I don't have that money. I've done plenty of work on cars before, so I feel like I can do this.
Problem is, the link for the doc that's in this thread is long expired. Do any of you have it? Could you PM me if you do? I heard mention of needing a rivet gun, which I don't have... is that true?
