Sluggo, or anyone, can you send me the guide? I would appreciate it greatly.

Also, I'll be glad to post it to Dropbox and post here as an open link.

Guys asking for it to be emailed, do the links not work for you in the very first post of the thread? I just clicked the host2 one that I have on my comcast storage and it opened up fine.
If it doesn't work for you let me know so I can see if they changed the privacy settings on that file without me knowing it.

Just finished!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank god that is over.

Anyone done it themselves before? I set it in motion and closed it, but it seems very hard to latch down in the front. I didn't latch it all the way. I may just let it sit for a few days and stretch out.

Anyone experience this? I'm afraid if I latch it all the way down, it will tear somewhere.

I'm trying to download the DIY file, but screen says it fails - could someone email it to me? csaustin1@gmail.com.

I need to buy a new top 2007 - any recommendations?

Thanks! Clare

I got mine from rockauto.com back in October, the 2150CST. Thats a Robbins top in stayfast canvas. They're currently cheaper than what I paid. They also have the 2150HV, which is vinyl for a little less. And an Acme Auto top, C716SF, I don't know anything about that, it says stayfast in one place, and vinyl in another.

You can almost always find a 5% off coupon on retailmenot.com for rockauto.

The only problem I had was that there was a gap at the back where the fifth bow meets the tonneau cover until the weather finally warmed up enough for it to stretch. I don't know if that's a problem with other brands.

first, thanks for allowing me to join your group i purchased my z back in 07. it was a little more than 2 yrs old and had 49k. well i am just below 145k now and she still runs pretty darn well. i need to replace the top as the sun here really damages the top. i also just changed the sound system, and have a question in that regard. i bought the recommended sub woofer replacement (crutchfield0 polk bd1040 and then decided tog o with an alpine mrv250 monoblock as the bose system just fell aprt. my problem is although the polk fits it does not line up properly, allowing me to drill new holes in the metal. i was wondering if there was some sort of brace i could purchase

What can I do? What happens if I don't fix it?

I went with the Haartz Stayfast cloth replacement top for $529 from autotopsdirect.com.

I am having a similar issue were the top is so tight it does not want to close all the way down. Did you just let your top stretch out and everything worked out?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

So right before 4 years went by from installing it, ezon just sent me a replacement top due to stitching coming apart. Not bad enough yet for air/water to get in but probably wouldn't have been long. Will probably put in on this weekend weather/work permitting. New top looks alot better than the old just by looking at it, they did away with the stitching around the rear glass and the threads are now black.
**Edit**
Questions people might have, just to save time.
What brand top? Ez on auto top, bought from topsonline.
Was it alot of trouble to get another top? Not for me, sent the company I bought it from pics of the issues , they contacted the manufacturer and a week later I was told a new top was being sent, with return postage for the old one. No money was asked for from me at all, completely no charge.
What all did top come with? New straps and rivets to put the top and straps on, appears to be 25-30 in the bag.
