I was wondering if it is possible to trade in the car you have, but keep the rims when switching out to a used car. I want to keep my rims, so I was wondering; if I have a 04 350z, and was trading it in for an 04 350zr could I keep the aftermarket rims on my z and switch them to the zr. Has a dealership performed this for anyone? Did it cost more to do so? Do I really have to trade my car in as it is, or is it up to the dealer?
P.S. I know there is a lot of questions here but I really want to keep my rims on my car so i was wondering if anyone has ever done this?
That's something that you'd have to discuss at the time of sale. Tell that you want to keep the rims that you've got and would like to do a swap. Nothing covert involved.
