Default need help thread on rear glass is gone

Thread is gone on the left and right lower corner of rear glass on my roadster, about 3in one side and 6in other, which leave a gap for wind noise and water to come through. Thinking of using epoxy or silicone to glue back together. Anybody try these with luck? Thanks

Why don't you try using helicoils for both threads, this will leave you with a solid fastening without the mess of using epoxy or silicone. Helicoil kits are available or if you don't want to buy a kit then take a visit to your local engineering shop.
