welcome to the world of G35 since '03. Luckily, JDM markets still use double din, so DD kits were available, along with AC only circuit boards. Thats the best solution you can hope for (a JDM DD kit from Nissan), if they ever make one for the 370z. The downside is they cost at least $240.
they also have products like the rockford fosgate three sixty two and the jl audio cleen sweep that allow you to add to factory systems such as these. If you get navigation then you will have to go this route because everything is tied into the screen. If you do not get nav you will get the dash with the standard 3 knobs across the bottom and you will be able to switch out the entire head unit. It also depends on your tolerance level as I will be 40 at the end of this year and I can account for the following:
18 years old 2 15" woofers in the trunk
23 years old 2 twelves
28 years old 2 tens
30 years old one ten
39 years old stock bose sub is good enough for me! Besides that I want navigation!
LOL I guess when I am 50 I will need a ride along nurse!
the issue is that nissan seems to like combining the AC & radio circuit boards. The most important part of doing an aftermarket radio in a G has been getting the AC only circuit board, you couldnt just cut off the radio part. But anyway, it looks like the parts will be made.. just a pain to get perhaps
As for the guy with the avatar of the girl with the fake boobs that look like they are about to 'splode, the base model comes with the double din stereo, the touring has the 6 disc/mono design, as do the Nav equiped models.
So this thread is one huge waste of time. Next time, check Nissan's site, the owners manual pdf that has been available forever now, or just ask instead of complaining....
As In the dark said, the first and last pictures are 2 different pics just so you know. They look similar, but they are a different design, and the second one has the radio that you can take out and is a double din.

That made me laugh. If you came up with that yourself, or even if you didn't,
