i think its funny how you keep ranting about A.H's car, which has every bolt on, and using that as an example for result of just exhaust hfc's and a tune.
yet when a car with the only the mods we're talking about show's up, you completely ignore it, and say that its not proof
if thats not proof then what is?

Last I recall this topic was about the VHR and HR how the HR doesn't gain the same amount. That is when you said it doesn't when A.H's car proved you wrong on that. But then you started to go into another BS talk about your car and gains, etc. Every mod gives different gains from brand to design. Reason why Motordynes ypipes give more power than it's competitors ypipes.
So again, the HR gains "almost" the same gains from mods as the VHR does. EOD.
You are now on ignore.

Can I reference these threads for HR gains?

well honestly when I had my VQ35DE car (06Z) I made a bigger gain, still with osiris.. but the tune was spot on 13.3/13.5 AFR... that made a HUGE difference and about 35/38WHP gain with intake, pulleys, headers, TP, exhaust...
but was "a little bit" unreliable.. that is why I'm driving an '08 nismo ;-)
this time I don't give a damn... I'm not saying 285 is the best we can pull out the engine.. but to me, is the most reliable for HPDE... probably with a technosquare style (13.5 afr, the one I have seen).. 300 would be possible.
at the end depends a lot on how much you want to "pull the strings" on the engine.
my target is run a 20 minute session on the track w/o having to be concerned of pinging, overheating, bla bla bla...
If my target was a 2 lap time attack mode my tune would have been different.

Glad you posted those links as one of the guys asked me to contact him when I go to UPREV again and I forgot about that! I just put that on my reminder list.

I am thinking of having them do this. One for the most power, then one for when I do track days, then stock, then gas saving, and valet mode.

IMHO, after thinking about it, couldn't you tell them to give you a safe tune, and then a race tune. So one is to the max it can get for HP and not worried about heat, etc, and one that is set to what you like now? You have up to 5 maps on the cruise switch.

I honestly don't care if I have 285 or 310 whp on the road. I just don't care.
If that was my "sport" I'd have bought an old camaro and tuned up to 5 or 600hp... but that isn't my sport.
and in the road around houston there aren't turns... it's just a boring, full straight, drag racers paradise.
p.s.
yes I already have 4 maps
track, stock, fuel economy, valet.
I switched once to try.. I went back to track.. never changed again.

on his same dyno (but you know. different day isn't apple to apple) I made 285 and some change with a "rich" tune, hfc and full 3" exhaust and matching Y pipe.
probably going for the aggressive afr and timing 290 or more would have been possible.
I'm going to retune for test pipes and change a faulty primary O2 sensor.. we'll see.. but I don't think I'm going even to get close to 300whp.
