Default 7AT dyno results 370 z (sport)

I put it on the WimPEP dynojet today and it made 265.7 RWHP and 224.1 lbs of torque. SAE horse power.
Car has 2100 km.
Had to use 4th grear as 5 th would not go over 7000 rpm.
After the dyno the car felt slugish driving home.
Max oil temp was 114 C.

I picked up the stillen G 3 intake today and will have it on by next week and we will see how much power it makes.

No! Limp mode is not sluggish, it is near-dead crawling. LOL

The car was hot and probably pulling timing is all. 240 degF oil temp is hot but not too bad for synthetic. If you don't have synthetic in there, you may want to change oil soon. Now you have a baseline for future mods so long as you come back to this exact same dyno (although most dynojets are relatively comparable).

The intake was installed and it took me 7.5 hours. It was very hard to line up the flairs on the couplings to the throtle bodys so that they fit in the right spot with the Maf sensor intake tube. It was worth it. I ran the car for 650 km.before getting the dyno done.
Base line dyno 265.7 RWHP 224.7 lb. torque.
Stillen G3. #1 280.4 RWHP 228.0 lb torque + 14.7
#2 285.6 rwhp 232.9 lb. torque + 19.9

Stillen claims + 16.4 RWHP + 7.2 lb. torque.
They must have dynoed a 6 MT
Mine was a 7 AT.
On the 2nd pull we let the motor cool down for 30 min.
Stillen let there car cool down for 1 hour 45 min.
I took the car to the track and it ran 13.42 on a hot moter
My best run was a 13.2098 on a pass where i let the car cool down for 1 hour.
On that pass i redlined the moter in 4th as i tried to go through the traps in 4th. and not shift into 5th. It would have been a little quicker My best trap was 107.8.

There intake does make the power they claim.

Next mod is the stillen cat back exhaust.

That's a good trap speed for a stock(ish) car.

That's pretty good for the 7AT. I can't wait to see what it dynos and then pulls in the 1/4 with the exhaust.

I just ordered the stillen cat back from oakville nissan. I spoke to DD motor sports and my Berk cats will be shipped to me in 2 weeks.
Sam at GTM, is shipping me the Cobb acess port this friday.
The diff was changed to 4.08 before I went to the track.
The problem is traction My 60 ft time are 2.1. This is terrible considering my 03 Z does 1.86 times with a 5 AT and slicks.
If my Ro Ja 19 x 10 fit the 370, i will be going to the track a week this friday with 275 35 19 toyos. I pulled 1.89 to 1.91 60 ft times with them. Preasure at 23 to 25 LBs.
This car should be a 12.7 car easy with all the mods.
I think the 4.08 diff is too much for the car.
Will keep you posted.

The Ro JA formula 5 do not fit the 370 z. The back rims fit ok but the air valve hits the caliper. The front rims do not even come close to clearing the front calipers.
The rim size is 19 x 8 and 19 x 10.
The only thing left to do is mount the toyos on the 370 z back rims.
Or find a better tire for he rear.

I was buy my self, remember you have to take the bumper off and it did not not fit well.( Intake)
In the end it worked great, there was lots of trimming to get the passenger side tube in so that it did not hit the headlight assembly. I also tied it off so that it does not hit the a/c lines on the drivers side.
I also put the couplings on so that they fit " perfectly in place on the couplings with no overlap or sticking in to far on the throlte body couplings. It lines up perfectly with the mass air flow tube.* It made 19.9 rwhp. I feel that the air flow in the pipe makes a big difference.
I took my time over two days.
It works well 13.201 , 1/4 mile.
