the key point is ESTER - so motul 300v 5w30 is my first choice.

i run that in my HR . so 100 for an oil change is no news to me... my diff also requires $ 50 every 5k...

Well dealerships gotta make up for lagging sales somehow right? What are the keen advantages in using this ESTER Oil for us with the older HR engine ?

Why does your diff require that? What diff is it?

Motul 8100
Cheaper than Motul 300V
Motul 300V is not really needed unless you got yourself a race car...

^ i am not sure if all of 8100 are ester based.. for that price range i would go with oem, patented, nissan ester oil.

and my car is a track only / sunday mountain run kinda toy... so 300v is all she drinks.

The important thing is that Nissan is not making this stuff up... the 3.7 vvel needs that oil. NO BS !
