Default oil cooler

Does the 370 need an oil cooler? I have seen on several user reviews that oil temps exceed the 270-280 range.

depends on what your doing, everyday driving spirited or not you will not hit those temps, tracking is different and does require and oil cooler
the highest ive ever seen my oil is just a bit over 220 and that was very spirited driving like pulls from 90-120 over and over again.

So far every 370 I've seen at the track or heard of going to the track goes into protect mode because of oil temperatures, so yes, it needs one.

like i said Daily driving on the street you DO NOT NEED an oil cooler. Tracking the car you will need an oil cooler.

This depends on the type of driving. Our 370 went into protection mode on the Dragon during ZDayz, on a 70 degree day. We have since installed a cooler on it and have tracked it twice with no problems. Any time you run these cars in a sustained high rpm enviroment the risk for oil over-heating is there.

yea but the dragon wasn't daily driving, ive run my car hard for 10-15 minutes with out hitting anything over 255 but the dragon is a different beast. having a small oil cooler will never hurt the car though.
