Default VQ37 piston

Does anyone know if VQ37 shares the same piston as VQ35HR? I am looking to rebuild the bottom end to lower the compression.

Supposedly the blocks are identical. The heads are different. www.courtesyparts.com is sometimes hard to understand but they have slightly different part numbers but they cost exactly the same.

Probly easier to have the dealer look up part numbers.

Per their website, Wiseco makes a 9.0:1 piston for the VQ37VHR and they have K1 billet H-beam rods available too.

So does the increase in displacement come from the crank?
