Default 370z differential swap

Hey guys I'm looking to swap a 370z VLSD 3.69 FD pumpkin into my base 350z and I found a few on eBay that say they are LSD, but don't say the FD ratio. So I was wondering if all 370z LSD are 3.69 or the auto 370z have a different FD like the 350zs do? I tried googling couldn't find a definite answer. I don't want to buy a 3.3 FD so I'm just trying to find out if even auto VLSD are 3.69 FD.

I mean you could buy either. But your final drive would be horrendous if off ratio lol

Were you able to complete the swap? If so, any modifications required? I'd like to do the same thing you describe. Thanks

The Z34 (370Z) pumpkin swap into a Z33(350Z) works without any modifications....as long as you use a Z34 complete rear diff pumpkin assembly from a manual transmission Z34, and install it into a manual transmission Z33. We are running a 3.69 pumpkin out of a 2016 Z34 Nismo in our 2004 Z33 Nismo and it bolts right up. We opened up the diff and removed the OEM VLSD, then installed a Nismo 1.5way LSD given we are endurance racing. The 3.69 gear ratio was the exact gearing we needed for our home track.

is it possible to use the internals from the 370z pumpkin in a 350z pumpkin and vice versa?

The physical pumpkin are the same between the z33 and z34. I am installed a 350z pumpkin in my G37. only thing that's different are the ring tone gears because the tooth count on the G37/370z are different than the G35/350z. Its for the sensor the reads off those gears. i forget that sensor it is, possible a speed or ABS sensor.

But you can also swap the guts like you're asking wiht no issues.
