Cool slim side mirrors

One of the few things I can't stand about my new Z are the sideview mirrors. I assume they are so freaking huge because the car literally has no rear 3/4 view out the C pillar windows. However that's not a problem for me because I have them set properly to not have to look over my shoulder when switching lanes and such. I had a 350 previously and they are slightly taller on the 370 - enough so that they can actually hide entire cars behind them when turning. It's kind of scary.

Are there any smaller side view mirrors out there? Could I get a set of 350 mirrors and swap them out?

For what it's worth, I highly doubt 350z mirrors will work given the roofline angle.

I think it's painfully obvious, they are two different cars and almost no parts, especially exterior parts, will simply swap in from a 350z to a 370z without extensive work. The a piller angle appears to slope differently than a 350z.

While I've never attempted to swap 350z mirrors into a 370z, I don't think it will work and I think most will agree with me. You're better off waiting for the aftermarket to catch up and start making some mirrors.

Good luck.

Or you can get blind spot mirrors to help out.

Yep, I even use those on my 350. They aren't the best looking things in the world, but god knows they've saved my a$$ a couple times.

The ones that go on the side mirrors themselves?
Might as well buy something that helps, rather that than paying for a chiropractor because you crank your neck to look over your shoulder all the time. Other solution, do not change lanes!

The REAR view with the side mirrors works fine and can be improved with small round bubble mirrors applied at the very outer edge, the part that bites is the loss of the ability to see the island ahead of you on the left while turning once you enter the intersection since the mirror IS the blind spot

He's not having a problem with seeing in his mirrors, he just doesn't like the way they look on the car. He's asking if he can fit 350z mirrors on his 370z.

Hey look, the aftermarket caught up with some ugly mirrors.
