Default Free 27 Point Inspection from Nissan Dealer??

Just took my car into Nissan after getting back from ZdayZ to get an inspection done just to make sure everything looks good. Well it turns out that the inspection comes free with the oil change and because i didnt have my oil changed... i just got a free inspection.

Dont know if my dealership just messed up or i have found the loop hole to free inspections for ALL.

Don't intend to burst your bubble but all shops do free inspections.

Once a month, Nissan sends me an advertisement/invitation/coupon for a 100 point inspection. I take them up on it regularly, I don't mind having another set of eyes look over my car for any potential problems that I might have overlooked. I also pay a certified inspector to check out my Z prior to track days.

This is yet another dealership scheme. I am shocked they
did not inform you of some overpriced service which "needed"
to be done right away. I am blown away you actually let a
service person at the dealership drive your vehicle. You should
be aware that under certain circumstances a bailment has not
occured, read the fine print. Therefore, damage done to your
vehicle while being serviced may be your own liability.

Rule of thumb - Don;t ever go back to the dealership once
you leave with a newly purchased vehicle.

I had an inspection after I got my brakes done there, said my tires were in perfect condition and would last a looooonnggg time yet and what do you know, one day later, one blows out on me on the freeway.

Didn't drive over anything either.

yeaahh they do those check-ups so they can tell you how much your car is breaking down and what should "really be replaced soon"

but you said free inspection (like state inspection?) cuz those you have to pay for here in VA...

and of course free oil change FTW. Those are never free unless you have some special deal going on
