One thing is that you are obviously resting to much weight on your arms and elbows. First off when you get going move your butt back further on the seat so you are not hugging the gas tank with your crotch. Use your thighs/knees to grip the tank. This allows you to support your back and upper body. have a slight bend on the arms, and ease up on your grip. Weighted Bar ends (i use Motovation Titanum bar ends) helps ease with the vibrations in the hands. Whether i ride my 600 or my friends 1000 i have never had any issues of numbness. It is all just a matter of body position and using your other limbs to take the weight off your arms/wrist and fingers
