I think Tito had his time, and he's marketable and is probably worth the money (not fight wise, promotion wise), so I hope they do good. I don't see why anyone would only want the UFC to succeed.
They cut fighters after they lose a couple, fill their cards with a bunch of no-names and 'cheap' fighters, and probably has the worst 'show' out of the major MMA orgs - past and present (PRIDE, DREAM, Sengoku and Affliction).
The only good thing is that they got the top fighters in all divisions minus Heavyweight. And even that is hampered by the fact that those fighters have to deal with draconian contracts that made us wait YEARS to see Liddell/Silva and is stopping a Fedor/Randy fight.
Why would you want the UFC to be the only successful org???

are you directing that at me?
if so, who said I only want the UFC to succeed? I never stated that, I am just stating that Affliction is just trying to use a bunch of money up front and make a name for themselves, guess what happens when the dust settles? Its called Debt. A company with to much debt usually ends up doing 1 of 2 things.
1: goes bankrupt
2: is bought out by another company...
Everyone said the same things about PRIDE as they are about Affliction. Where is PRIDE now???
It took Zuffa 6 years to break even on the investment they put into the UFC when they purchased it. How many owners are willing to wait 6 years before they earn their money back? Not many that is for sure.
