Although the advice given is all pretty good you have to remember that 80% of the sound comes from your center channel. This is probably the most important speaker if you are using a surround sound system. You can get away with not using one if your tv has a good built in speaker, and the reciever has a setting for "phantom" center but more than likely your other speakers will over power the tvs speakers. This results in not being able to hear dialog in the movies clearly. To find one just doa search for center channel speaker on google.
