WHAT THE FREAK IS GOING ON?????
I just got through watching the women's individual vault final and yet again, America gets screwed. Alicia Sacramone landed two great vaults but finished fourth behind a Chinese gymnast who made two HUGE mistakes on her vault (stumbling badly on the landing and landing out of bounds) yet SHE STILL SCORED HIGHER! BEAM ME UP, SCOTTY! At least this time, the Chinese had the good sense to send a girl out who at least looked 16 years old.
On a side note, the announcers revealed that on nbc.com, after Michael Phelps, Alicia Sacramone is the second most searched athlete on the site. Not a shocker...
