The only mod on my car right now is a JWT Popcharger. However, after sitting in the line of cars for about 20min before running, I could tell that heat soak was an issue for me.

My first time was...

14.97 @ 92mph.

I was very nervous, and wasn't ready for the light to go green, and bogged the launch, and missed 2nd gear. Oh yeah, and hit the rev limiter in 3rd. Good times.

However, each run got progressively better.

My best, was:

REACTION ---- 0.1131
60 FT ---- 2.0417
330 FT ---- 5.9264
1/8 ET ---- 9.0964
1/8 MPH ---- 77.33
1000 ET ---- 11.8127

1/4 ET ---- 14.1023
1/4 MPH ---- 98.79

My 60' time kept getting better with each run, and if I could've gotten another run in, I'm positive that I could've got a sub 2.0 60' time.

Also, I think I could've dipped down into the 13's.

I was VERY surprised how well the car was hooking up. I was launching at 4000 - 4500 rpm, and the tires were slightly squeeking through first gear.

I plan on going back in a couple weeks, and trying it again!

Are you still on the first OEM clutch? I'm saying that because launching at 4000rpms is usually spin city with a decently grabbing clutch. But you sais there was very little spin. What I've found is that a worn OEM clutch will help you launch because as it gets older it slips, but it will take away some of your trap because of that same fact.
