best way to clean oxidized headlight??

Default best way to clean oxidized headlight??

my headlights are getting oxidized and turning a little yellow, what is the best cleaner to make them look new/newer. is there a special plastic cleaner or is there a home remedy thats better

3M makes some great products for plastic. Problem is that you cannot get inside the lense to clean condensation and dirt.

Sip on an orange pad at 2000rpm on a rotary finish with 106ff orf a on a white at 1400 then 11000 rpm used that on a 2004 g35 sedan last night.

Ive had great results with plastic X. If its bad enough, you may need to wet sand first with very fine sand paper, 2000 grit (use light pressure). Then follow up with the plastic polish.

I used SIP with Orange pad came out brand new...it was really bad...
a month later it came back...so i guess you gotta keep polishing since the clear is gone...

I used to use PlastX, but found it didn't last more than 2 weeks in the exceptionally harsh climatic conditions in NZ.

For over a year and a half I've been using the Turbo Wax range including the Headlight Restoration. I used this product the first time in January, and I've only just re-did them this month, that's pretty damn good going. It's quite a gentle way to clean the oxidation off our silly plastic headlights, and it's highly effective and doesn't take much effort, even better.
