13s in my bone stock 350Z auto
I just got this Bell g-tech. I did a good run and here are the results:
60ft-2.0
330ft-5.8
0-60-5.2
0-100-13.4
1/4-13.8@100.6
This was in manual mode. Full auto was 14.3@97 The shifts seem slower in full auto. All done on the same road.

a gtech is not a proper timing device. i hope you dont tell people your car runs those times now. 14.0 is pretty good though, it will go 13's on a real track you just need to make a few more passes

it took you .4 seconds to add .6 mph.....i hope that thing is off! lol
i don't know about that thing but i know that the mph on the gtech pro is ridiculously off....it read 114 in the 1/4 when i did mine

it's possible.
my Auto does a 0-60 between 4.9 and 5.2 with a fastest 1/4 mile of 13.8
My measurements were taken with the AutoEnginuity OBDII software running SpeedTracer.
My only significant mod is the Borla.
of course his erroneous time reading between 100-100.6 is a little wierd.

I tell people that my real track time is 14.0 and my Bell gtimer is 13.8 When I raced a mod wrx(turbo boost, intake, exhaust) from a 10mph roll we were even to 120 then i started to pull on him. After the race he tells me to pop the hood. Another race with a 350Z 6sp(CAI) he had the first jump(half car) was staying there 100+. He also tells me to pop the hood. They dont believe that my Z is bone stock AUTO. Well I have A/S tires.

Actually Jons the reason why you see in motor trend the 0-100 being 13 seconds and the 1/4 at 100.94 being 13.77 seconds is because trap speeds are calculated way differently at the track. I remember reading something saying its not the actual speed you pass the 1/4 mile at, but an average of a couple of speeds. Dunno I need to find that article again.

btw I think autos can hit 13s stock...I hit 14.1 elevation corrected with a crappy 2.2 60 ft time. That's without lowering tire pressure or taking out the spare or anything. If I can nail a 2.0 next time around I think 13.9s won't be that hard.

Last time I went to the track I tested my G-Timer 2 vs My time slip.
It went something like this..
Time slip:
14.11@100.56
G-Timer 2:
14.08@99.88
And the 60 foot times were nearly identical around 2.25 or so.
I also managed a 13.82@102.xx with a 2.08 60 on it. If it's calabrated correctly and your on a flat road it can be very close. But I still would not take credit for a run unless it was in the form of a timeslip from the track.
The performance devices are more of a guide to compare runs or mods, they are very accurate in this regard.
