Free or cheap mods *UPDATE PAGE 12*
So, I just got my Z and I'm itching to do something to it. Since I'm just a lad I don't have too much money.(Probably about 100 dollars or so) So, what are some cheap/free things to do to her, other than washing and waxxing it?

IMO, there's nothing cheap about tastefully modding a Z. Besides a $50+ shift ****, everything else is gonna cost you $300 minimum. And that's if you can find a set of springs that will get you a subtle enough drop to align without a camber/toe kit.

For the cost of a few screws you can tuck your rear bumper. However this only looks good with aftermarket exhaust. And only certain ones at that.
For a hundred bucks, you can (1) change most of your bulbs out to a fancy color or super whites; or (2) get a bunch of detailing/cleaning supplies and clean your car up real nice; or (3) get some decent synthetic oil, filter, and crush washer and change your oil; or (4) S2k antenna and a decent shift ****; or (5) get your rear hatch tinted (possibly the two small rear windows as well)....
...if you want anything "real" you'll have to save up. Most mid-level mods are at least $300-500...good luck to you and let us know how you spend that hund-o?

Well, I'm gonna stay away from the stickers, and it's an automatic so can I change the shift ****? And with the K&N air filter, would I just pick that up at a local Autozone?

Ya, I was going to say black out the head lights.
Just make sure you allow adequate time for the paint to dry or it'll thrash the lense interior.

Just remember, most "mods" under $100 must be picked out carefully or your car will look CHEAP and ricey. A couple of nice pieces go a much longer way than a bunch of useless add/stick-ons. My 2 cents.

I'm 15, but I'm not going to "rice" the car out. I think the car looks fine the way it is. I was talking about stuff like, getting rid of the antenna that sticks out, a new air filter like the dude said, feel me?
