If you've got an iPhone 3G, you can earn a little money by being a war driver w/your iPhone 3G. I stumbled across Navizon recently while looking for something else.
You can paid $10 for every 10,000 points but if you're using Navizon Lite, you can only get paid for one reward unless you upgrade to the full version. See

You just need to start the app on your iPhone 3G while driving around. I think you also need to turn on WiFi first. That's it. You don't need to do anything else.

It does drain a fair amount of power so I wouldn't use it for long periods of time unless you have something to power your iPhone 3G in the car.
