Need Help - Resonator Rattle
Hey guys. I've got an '06 with stainless steel exhaust. The baffle inside the resonator on the right side is loose and makes a HORRIBLE rattle. The stealership quoted me $350 + parts to make the fix and I laughed. How much should I really be looking at with an exhaust shop? It can't possibly be that expensive of a repair can it?
Any advice would be appreciated as I'm a new Z owner (used to drive Jeeps) and I'm still learning...
Thanks all!

The guy at the shop told me "it's stainless and we can't weld stainless...you need to go to an exhaust shop." I'm assuming that he meant the resonator was made of stainless. He said the baffle on the resonator (right side) was loose and causing the rattle...
The noise has become very loud and sounds like a tin can. I guess I'll have to figure it out somehow, heading to a local exhaust shop tomorrow a.m.
Thanks

Instead of replacing the resonation just delete it. Labor and materials about $100.
