Default Lug Nuts Wont Stay Tight and Fall Off

Never experienced this in my entire life. The lug nuts on my aftermarket rims won't stay tight. They loosen themselves up and fall off. The best is while driving the steering wheel shakes horrible and all you hear is a grinding noise. The rims are over brembo brakes so I don't understand. Any help would be very much appreciated. Can't drive the Z until I get this resolved. Thank you

I didn't get any with the rims. Would that make the difference? I have them as flush as possible against the rotor. Plus do I have the get the ones made for that rim.

Are you torqueing the lugs to spec (~80-90 ft/lb)? Are you getting at least 7-8 lug rotations? Any damage to the stud threads? What is your lug size? Are you running spacers? If so what size, type, and any mods to the studs? Any lubricants on the lugs (ie. they shouldn't have any)?

Oem are 60deg cone angle. If your wheels aren't they won't hold. Give more details on your wheels.

Are you using a torque wrench? What torque are you tightening them to?

OEM lugs wouldn't fit. The holes are to small. They OEM lugs fit in but I can't get anything on the lug to tightn them. The rims are Montegi Touges. I'm past the point of torque'n them off to 90 and on to tight'n them to 100. The lugs I'm trying to use now and shelf brand from Advanced Auto Parts. They were the only ones I could find to fit. Np spacers are installed on the Z. Only the Brembos that came with the car.

These are the rims. I bought them off a guy on a forum.

The seat of the nut fits the wheel properly correct? Photos helpful.
Nut is open or closed?

pull a wheel off that this is happening on and check if the studs stripped at all. check the lugs for any sort of damage from all this etc..

Here are the lug nuts I'm using right now. These are Dorman Wheel Lug nuts. Or I should say trying to use.

The $64,000 question is: What pitch are the threads? 1.25 or 1.5? The stud on the Z are 1.25. It's possible to make the mistake and put on 1.5 pitch which won't screw on or torque down properly.

They are 1.25. I thought the same thing. Triple checked it.

The reason I'm using those lugs is because they were the only ones that would fit inside the rim and get a wrench on them. The studs aren't stripped. Looked at them again last night. Nobody has ever heard lugs falling off the car or coming loose while driving. The steering wheel goes insane when it happens.

I'm to the point of just selling the rims and tires. Getting something new.
