Moved to proper forum

Did you notice that they are totally different shapes? At a minimum, it would take some major body work to blend a 370 headlight into the 350 hood/fender.

I'm betting that it hasn't happened. Hence Sporks comment about being a pioneer.

Of course it can be done. Fabricate a support for the headlight. Cut and paint fender.

It has been done- there's a thread around here somewhere with a guy who has a track car that transplanted the 370z exterior (including headlights) onto a 350z chassis. The front fenders looked kinda weird because they didn't fit but it wasn't actually too bad looking.

Anyway, this is not worth the effort and I would suggest just dropping the whole idea.

Yes there is a member on here with a 370z conversion on his z33. It looks like shi7*, just my straight up opinion! Just sell ur 350z and get a 370z. Or better yet! Spend good amount of money, do it right and then post it and prove me wrong.

Do the opposite please. actually put the g37 headlights on a 370 then you have a win! $$$$ now matter what you do.

there is a reason why no one has done this, because 370z's headlights are the ugliest part of the whole ugly car beside those fugly sharks teeth

throw out dollar amounts to him guys...thats the best way to bring someone to their senses.

I got this one

A set of those 09'+ 370 headlights has to run at least $1400. Then the body work LOL, thats gonna run you probably $1500 at least. Thats not including to paint your front bumper, front fenders, and hood after all the work. I would venture to say your looking at around a $5000 mod after its all said and done. Thats if you want to take it to an excellent shop with a good rep. Personally after all the custom body work I got done to my car I wouldnt accept any less then perfection...at least $90/hr for labor. Oh yeah I forgot wiring....

think it through

The Z34 isn't that ugly IMO. I would love to own one but I know I would just modify and replace most of the standard feature goodies... then I would ask myself, "Why the *** didn't I just buy a 350z and mod that?!"

Anyways, the Z34 headlights have potential:

but putting them on a 350z = fail. Just mod the zenki or kouki Z33 headlights and you're set.

I'm sure you could probably buy a set of used one off of a totaled 370 at a junk yard.

I beg you not to ruin a perfectly good z. if you must transplant anything from that monstrosity let it be the engine.

No PS skills needed! Here is the members thread who first attempted it.

I personally think the engine build is nasty because thats what i wanted. But the front end conversion, not a fan of!
