Cleaning my z? Tiny bumps on paint.
I just purchased a 2005 ZR , Yellow, which looks great and runs great.
I gave it a good wash, and spent quite a bit of time cleaning it all up,
but if I rub my hand over the paint, it has tiny bumps on it, that I believe come off with my fingernail. It may have not been waxed or detailed in a while.
I have read the forum postings on how to detail the car, but I am afraid of ruining the paint.
Suggestions to bring the paint back to a smooth sleek look and feel again without any worry of causing harm?
Thanks!

Clay bar treatment. Trying to scrub the bumps off or scratching them with your fingernails will damage the paint quicker than anything.
Kneed the clay for a few minutes to soften it up, before using it. Fold it over frequently, for a fresh surface. Use Plenty of lubricant. Rewash the car and go over it with a good wax, and micro fiber towels.
Everything else is kaput.
