Default Any Earthlink users??

I constantly get this when some people try to register or request their pw to be reset..
"I apologize for this automatic reply to your email.

To control spam, I now allow incoming messages only from senders I have approved beforehand.

If you would like to be added to my list of approved senders, please fill out the short request form (see link below). Once I approve you, I will receive your original message in my inbox. You do not need to resend your message. I apologize for this one-time inconvenience.

Click the link below to fill out the request:"

Now I dont mind going through the process but the thing is I get more than enough of these a day. Most of the time I cant respond to it for several days.
My question is there a way for earthlink users to turn this off or allow certain email address's so I dont have to constantly respond to these? Like accept anything@my350z.com

yeah, you have to request the guy to turn his EL anti-spam off. Either that or put up a banner that says earthlink/mindspring anti-spam users, add this e-mail address and put the my350Z webmail address there.

I turn off the spam filter on my earthlink account and I still dont get email from a lot of forums. Do a search for this issue, its pretty common on other forums.

I was an EarthLink member for a while during college. They overbilled me on several occasions, customer service was a joke, the service wasn't great and now they have lovely annoyances like this.

The best part - at work, these notices never reach me because they are filter as spam (how ironic). Messages have gone "missing" more than once. Very poorly concieved idea at EL.
