Hey Andy,

We never spoke before, but my buddy in Korea orders 350z parts from you.. I tried to reach you when I bought JWT flywheel+nismo copper clutch disc from the performance, but you were out that day... I'm also in Korea and I own 350z. Anyway, I PMed you about the stoptech rotors, but I haven't heard back from you. I bought the ST40 calipers from Tony and he referred me to you as well. Let me know. Thanks,

Jay

About 30 I assume... But people are importing Zs in from Japan and US every year... so the number is increasing.. Nissan does not have a dealer in korea since Renault Samsung makes Maxima and other 4 door sedans. Infiniti is in Korea however.

I think the demand for Z will increase when the Fast and the furious 3 hits the screen in Korea. Apparently when the Supra came out in the FF1, the price of supra doubled in korea....

I bought it in New York and brought it with me when I moved back to Korea. Importing process sucks! I wouldn't want to do it again. I hired a moving company to ship the car over seas. They put my car in a 40ft container with 2 other cars. It took 1 month to get to Korea.

Tax on import car is pretty expensive. I believe I paid 36% of the bluebook value. Then I had to pass 3 vehicle tests: safety, emission and noise tests. US spec Stock Zs can't pass the noise test (75db), and might fail the emission test as well, so I had to pay more money to "modify" the exhaust. Extra cats were put on and metal scrubs were stuffed into the exhaust pipes to pass these tests...

Once passed, everything was returned to the original, and I could register.

I hear yeah~ I drove in New York (Long Island, Manhattan), but Seoul is worse!!! Out here you literally have to have a sixth sense to drive...
Traffic laws don't really exist here... Not long ago a Lamberghini Murciellago (spelling) got totalled driving on the wrong side of the street in Korea.. Obviously, he was showing off... "I'm fast enough to avoid on coming traffic"....

Hey leeboyNY I would like to see some updated pics of your Z.
Does it still have the same setup as before?
Also, I was just curious if any of those little kits try to key your car or something.

Even with my APS ST, what you see above is pretty much it... I do have a new custom dual N1 style exhaust, which looks very similar to AAM exhaust.
I want a sleeper look, so I can mess with M3s and other german cars... I like to surprise them with my BOV sound "Chit~Chit~Chit~Cheeeee~~~~~~~" You can check out my installation pictures at
http://www.jascomotors.com/bbs/board...&sCa=&sVa=&cn=

I'm looking for a bodykit... Something nice, but not too crazy looking... I'm thinking nismo side skirts, veilside V1 rear skirt and the Stillen V1 spoiler... But then I just might go all in on the nismo kit (front bumper and all)...

Funny you say that about kids keying import cars... Right after the soccer game yesterday, mobs terrorized all the import cars around Gang-Nam.. They thought it would be fun to go up on the roof or the hood of someone else's cars to celebrate and spray paint... People watching didn't help by chanting "괜찮아~ 괜찮아~" (It's OK~ It's OK) to car owners... Interesting thing is that they only spotted out import cars to terrorize... I'm proud to be a korean, but seeing these act of uncivilized celebration, which turned into some sort of "witch hunting" for the "Haves" made me realize that behind all the gliters, the mentality of Korean natives are still stuck in the 3rd world...
