I need to make sure these chinese symbols are correct

Can someone that knows please tell me what they are.

edit: I think they are Japanese, but I have been told Chinese also.

A.) Says Aquarius or Virgo (not sure...)

B.) Leo (for sure)

Kanji? also, would this be the way to write the first one from top to bottom?

It should be the other way around, you wrote it bottom to top.
