PIONEER AVIC D1 or N2 and BOSE system
For the Audio experts in this forum.
Will the PIONEER AVIC D1 fit in place of the Bose system?
will it work with the BOSE Speakers and amps that come stock?
How about the sound performance? I am not too much of a sound fanatic. Just want a decent sound while on the road.

Yes.
Will it work with the BOSE Speakers and amps that come stock?
Yes but sound poorly.
How about the sound performance?
Poor as the Bose speakers are really weak and wimpy. Bose programs their headends with custom equalization to compensate for their cheap speakers.
You really have to swap out the headend, amplifiers, and speakers to get anything better rolling. I finished
my project last night swapping the seven speakers, two amplifiers and headend.
It was a pretty big job, the labor was about 24 hours worth of work total which isn't going to be cheap.
