It won't stop the HU from getting stolen but it's a deterent. Same thing goes for the face plate for security. The HU's are pretty much worthless if it were stolen.

But you have to have the deck registered with Eclipse before it's stolen...

skyydiver-its from xtremekustoms ebay seller which i picked mine up locally and i must say the boxes are well made with a machine doing exact cut replicated boxes. was cool he picked the type of box on the computer and saw the thing in action

I got pics of making of the AMP Rack ... i ll get them from my friend's digital camera...

All i have are pics of the Final product.

Its a pain in the A** placing them where they are!!

Where can i get the stock navigation system .. ( the whole thing ) for my 04 touring...

shall i install the stock navigation system or aftermarket one.... any recommendations on navi systems

As far as the navigation system goes after looking at all the different manufacturers to see which one is by far the best this is the best one I have ever tested. The 872A Here is the link to one we just did in a clients vehicle in the windstar http://www.jmlaudio.com/ford.htm

Jmlaudio, have one question, how come the tweeter pods in the kick panel look like the are firing toward the underside of the dash area?

My system is a Kenwood DDX-6019 with KNA-G510 Nav Unit. It works great. It's
Not as fancy as some these systems but good for me. I replaced the front speakers with a set of rockford componets.
