Here is my system...
Battery and cables
Both sides of the door have Damplifer Pro. No shakes, rattles or rolls. The side mirrors dont shake at all.
Under the seats and hatch were treated to Damplifier and 1 gallon of spectrum.
Head unit
Bass **** for sub amp
Old school EQ in rear cubby
Kinetik battery, voltage monitors and wiring. Bad angle on the pic, but it looks pretty good in person.
Amp rack, sub and wifes ugly *** Maxima
..and the back up camera
Not pictured is the Kenwood Nav box. Its mounted under the drivers seat. I plan on buying an Alumapro 5 farad cap, Kenwood touchscreen and media controller unit.
The system sounds pretty good, but I havent tuned it to my liking just yet. I think I need to add some Damplifier to the top half of the hatch. Something back there vibrates something nasty when its up past 20.
I like the fact that the head unit reads flash drives up to 32GB, so no need to bring CD's in the car. The only drawback for me is that I have over 100GB of music. I went out and bought 2 Corsair 16GB flash drives. Thats plenty of music and videos for even looong trips!
Mike at Auto Stereo here in Clarksville TN did all of the work. He put it all together in less than 2 weeks.

That is a sick sound system. Very classy too. The set up really compliments the car without over shadowing it's performance look. I love a nice sound system, but it can detract from the look of a performance car. This is a very nice balance. Good job.

I recently finished a new stereo install and wanted to share. Not as impressive as many of the others here, but I was going for good sound quality with a subtle look.
The vehicle overall:
Clarion MAX685BT Head Unit:
Phone Function Interface
NAV System Page
Clarion NAX980HD Navigation System:
Ipod Interface:
Wicked C.A.S. 10" JL Audio 3v3 Sub:
Memphis Audio Amplifiers (1 75w X 2 for the Sub, 1 50w X 4 for the HU):
Like I said. It's not as impressive as many of the systems here, but I was looking for a stealth install look. I love the Clarion MAX685BT head unit since it has a lot of features packed into one unit. The Bluetooth works seamlessly with my Blackberry and allows me to stream music from my phone to the stereo. The single 10" sub hits nicely and provides enough bass for me. The amps powering the sub and head unit give me plenty of power as well. The NAX980HD Nav system works flawlessly and has a ton of points of interest and directions packed into it. What's best is you get free updates and wallpapers from Clarion through their website as opposed to buying a new update disc. There is a USB interface on the front of the NAV system. The space below the glove box was almost made for this unit as it is easliy accesible and fits perfectly. The Wicked C.A.S. Sub box fits nicely and gives a very clean OEM look. It was a nice way to have bass without sacrificing the trunk. I would recommend the C.A.S. corner enclosure and I'll be writing a seperate review on it in the near future.
Overall, I'm very impressed with the way this install turned out. It was a collaboration between a local shop, a friend, and a lot of my own elbow grease. The factory sub location is an idealplace for the amps and the Memphis amps not only power the equipment well, but their thin profile made installation a breeze since I didn't have to remove the entire rear panel to get in there. For my next install, I want to run a set of Hertz speakers to give everything the right sound. Once the stereo is done, I can focus spending more money on performance mods.

Clean and simple. Looks good. Is that Head unit touch or no? I didnt think to put my nav box under that little "under box" in the passenger cubby. Im going to have my nav moved there when I get the rest of my components. Nice install.

The nav system in the that dead space in the glove box is perfect for it. I was originally going to put it behind the drivers seat, but I wanted that space for amps instead. The place where I had it installed actually recommend doing it there. It's secured with velcro since it has a USB interface to upload map updates and wallpapers and it fit's in there perfectly.
Thanks for the compliments. I now wish Nissan would make a rear view mirror that can handle the bass. That would be my next install.
