Default 4 Positive "+" Terminals? Which One Did You Use????

Just popped off the battery cover to get an idea of where the fuse folder is going to sit and then where the power cable will enter the firewall, then noticed that the OEM terminal going onto the + post of the battery has 4 bolts??

When looking directly down on the battery the bunch of them look like an "L" more or less...

Which point did you connect your power cable to?

PS
any tips on how to run the power cable into the car (o gauge)? do we have an extra plug in the firewall? or will I need to drill my own?

Use 1 or 2. If you take the plastic from around the batt. cover you will have a gromet staring you in the face.

By the looks of it 4 is after the factory fuse for the batt. If hes running 1/0 gauge then he must be planning to pull alot of power that doesnt need to run through that fuse. I hope hes using stinger 1/0.

ooooohhhh - 4 gauge sounds right assuming you amp doesn't pull over 100amps.

To the original question, I used post 3 for my stereo install mostly to keep everything clean looking.

It you use 3 your running it through the factory fuse. If you ever have a problem (pinched wire, bad amp, etc.) You could make your car not able to start, run, etc. If your worried about looks pop off on some nice stinger batt. terminals. If you got enough money to afford a Z you should have enough for batt. term. If you want a good deal on some PM me.

I'm tossing around the idea of getting a new Stinger battery to replace the OEM. I actually asked you about them when we were talking about wires but I didn't hear back from you on what Stinger batteries will fit the Z and what differences are between they have!? If you could reply with those details and prices I would like to get one! thx

Check your older PM's I replied back. The sp1000 will fit. It weighs 25lbs. I dont know the weight of the factory batt. It has the power of 2 optima red tops. Great batt. It need to be drained, and slow charged back up once every couple of months. If you do this they say it should last 12yrs under extreme conditions. We sale the SP1000 for $329.00. I cant remember what price I told you, but it was way better than that. Im trying to take care of my fellow Z people. Most stinger is marked up 40-60 points, but as long as I make something off of anything I carry Ill be happy to hook up anyone on 12v goodies.
