OK, got my speaker cables pulled through the doors. All the windows and door locks work. However, my trunk release button stopped working. Only works with remote. Could it be that I messed up one of the wires in the doors????

Be very careful.. I just had to have my BCM replaced doing this, because my driver's door lock wouldn't lock/unlock w/ the remote, we can't find the exact cause, only thing i can think of is pin issues, but next time.. i'm making sure battery is disconnected, etc...

OMG....what...a pain....in the *****...
Thanks so much for this guide...who knows where I'd have been without it. Even with it...I swear that was the most teidous, painful, and frustrating mod I've done to my car yet
how I got that harness reconnected without a toddlers hands still escapes me~

my experience.
1: make sure the holes in the harness that you make are big enough for the wire to move freely in and out. Other wise they can get twisted or caught up inside the harness and squash pins
2: the trick with the door being half way closed made the second door so much easier! (took about 2 minutes to reconnect)
3: the white harness comes out of the door jamb from the bottom first. I tried to pull the top out first, broke the plastic tab, and this made it very difficult to reconnect later.
4: when you pull the wires through and they are hanging around, be mindful that pulling the wire can easily bend some pins.
5: dont force the lever closed.. or you can bend some pins.
6: dont plan on using you aching, bruised and bloody hands for the next couple of days.

Running wire to the doors was the worst stereo install problem I have ever had. I spent a day just trying to figure it out, and get the wires through. Very frustrating and horrible. But I should post pics of my tweets, that I dremeled and mounted in the stock location. Looks sweet, and sounds even better.
Best of luck to anyone doing this.
