Smile My bose cd player says check disc... lol why?

hey guys dam i tried today to put a cd in my stock bose head unit and now all 6 slots just say check disc it wont even play one track i bought like a lens kit then i was like o wait it wont even run the cd so yea any had that problem any good ideas ... thanks guys

sounds like its shot...nvr had this issue, but sounds like the reader is either fried, or gunked up...

mine did the same thing. i went and purchased a new one and it did it again, so then i went aftermarket. factory defects from Bose i think
