i will post pictures of mine. although i have not felt like dropping 250 bucks on. the reason this is still a sticky is it gives all the part #'s you will need if you wanna do this project. if you are planning on doing something like this i would hope you know what your doing anyways.

I like this idea but the pictures are gone. Has anyone else done this? Why couldn't you fit the monitor in the cubby with the sliding door cover? May just have to be a smaller monitor. I would prefer to close and hide the monitor. The downside is it seems very expensive and the parts list is outdated. The upside is not exposing aftermarket system in A roadster.

I called Kenwood to try and update the parts list:
* KCA-BT300 (or 200) Bluetooth - $125
* KNA-G510 NAV unit (said G610 is for 2010+ cars?) - $190
* KOS-V1000 (uses remote control, No HD tuner) - $500
* LZ-702W (touch screen controls)- $200
* PAC ROEM-NIS2 (for Bose only) - $45
Total (without labor) = $1,060.00 Which is the same as a double din unit but with a lot more hassle. Only benefit would be to hide in a roadster model assuming it would work in oem cubby with the retractable door cover.
I called Scosche:
NN03B + SLCV (hi to low converter)
I found a different part for BOSE on another thread, so not sure why he suggested this route.

All parts have been discontinued. There is about 3 V100's left on ebay but you have to factor in the other units. I want NAV, HD & bluetooth. I want the clean look of OEM NAV but going this route would be just as much of a nightmare as installing the OEM system and I still wouldn't have bluetooth as I beleive it's controlled by the stereo (and steering wheel buttons I dont have). I went to a local shop and he gave me the 4" touch screen for free "lol". But without the V1000 it's worthless. I don't want to loose the rear bins for all the aftermarket units. I will just have to choose a double din unit that has security like Pioneer. I would do Eclipse as their NAV is the best i've used but the price is too expensive for being discontinued.
Here is someone else that did the aftermarket cubby NAV but he did not retain the oem stereo, so that makes no sense. That defeats the purpose of going through all the trouble. https://my350z.com/forum/audio-and-v...n-install.html
