Just ordered a Kenwood DDX470!!
I just placed the order for my new HU from Sonic Electronix. They had the best price for this model of anywhere that I found online. They included a Scosche dash kit, a Metra harness (to retain Bose), free shipping, no tax and I saw a code on their site for an additional 5% off. Total $288.80
I'll be installing this and keeping the factory Bose amp, sub, and speakers.
I can't be the only person that wants to add functionality, but not want to do a complete audio system rip/replace. I'll try to remember to post some pics as I install.
Thanks for all the info everyone!

Not the ROEM-NIS2, but a metra wire kit that is supposed to work with the stock Bose amp, sub, and speakers. I am hoping it works like the ROEM-NIS2.

No steering wheel controls on my Z, so no need for other adapters.
If the metra harness doesn't work, I'll be getting the ROEM-NIS2 AdvanZ33. Thanks for the link in the other thread.

OK, finally got back from vacation and the UPS driver dropped off my Kenwood DDX470, Metra 70-7551 harness and Scosche dash kit NN1647B.
I have a couple questions on wiring.
I've read many threads about matching wire colors, etc. but I am unsure what to do with the Kenwood's harness - Brown "Mute" button, and the pair of RCAs that say "Sub Woofer" that come out of the back of the HU itself.
I also am not sure of the grounding of the Metra harness and the Kenwood harness. Do the chassis ground and amp ground both get grounded to chassis? Seems to make sense that they would.
There are two Metra connectors. One has a pair of RCAs, Yellow (12v constant), Red (12v Switched), Orange (Illum), Black (Chassis Ground) and Blue (Power Antenna). The other connector/harness has a pair of RCAs and a Black/White (Amplifier Ground) and Blue/White (Amp Turn on). Do the RCAs from the Metra harnesses get connected to anything?
See attached pics.

BTW, it's installed and working, mostly. The Pandora app on the radio controls my phone's app, ie song selection, etc, but the audio plays through my phone (Galaxy S3) and not the car. Any ideas?

I did install it and with the Metra harness, it sounds just as it did with the stock HU. Volume is sufficiently loud.
I do have one odd concern with the Bluetooth and Pandora built-in app. When streaming via BT, the sound is very low volume and seems to only play the "highs". This does happen as well with my 2013 Camry and this phone. Not sure where the problem lies yet.
With the Pandora app on the Kenwood, it connects to my phone, displays Genre, Stations, etc and I can control what music is played in Pandora, but the problem is, the audio is coming out of my phone. It's like the HU is acting like a remote control for my phone and that's about it. I can't figure out how to get the audio to come through the car's speakers with the Pandora app. I use a Samsung Galaxy S3 with CM10.

I read that same complaint somewhere else. It could be the OS youre running since its rooted, I know thats what Kenwood will tell you.
Have you tried using a non rooted S3? Connect it and see if it fixes that.
So your music plays fine through bluetooth? Can you also change songs from unit or does it have to be on the phone. Im talking about the music you have on your phone not Pandora.
I should be ordering mine real soon, I came up with a plan to pay $0.00 out of pocket for it haha.
