Does anyone know if the Avital 4103LX remote start will work on an 04 350z?

Is your Z automatic? I'm pretty positive only certain remote starts will work with a manual transmission.

I have done close to a dozen remote starters. Avital is made by directed electronics who also make Viper Clifford and python. I have always used Viper. When you program them the defaults are for manual transmission. You have to change to auto if car is auto. I don't see why that unit will not work for the Z. Are you doing this yourself? . If so make sure you understand what you are doing because messing up can be costly

It will work. I personally wouldn't install it on a Z since it does not have a neutral safety switch.

This model does not have that option.
