Default New guy here

hey guys just want to say hello just bought a turbocharged 2003 350z, this is my second z but the first one was few years ago and didn't have it long due to work and travel, also first forum I gave ever belong to. Anyways was getting around to installing a double din I had from a previous car, got the stock one out and hooked up my Kenwood went to check if everything turned on and nothing....plugged the stock back in and nothing there either, so guessing I blew a fuse or could something else triggered this? Everything else worked, and no more light so called it a night for now but figured I would test my luck here, and BTW I was an idiot and didn't disconnect the battery when I started I know....figured it would have gone smoothly like others have. Anyways any imput, would be great

Welcome- but you're going to need more patience on this board. Lots of lurkers here and 200 views and 12 hours is not much. First time I read your thread and yes, it's most likely you blew a fuse. You'll need to check both the IPDM and small fusebox in the DS kick panel to find out which slot it was...

Are you inserting the antenna in the back of the headunit? It wont turn if you just plug in the harness.

That was it, thanks figured it out shortly after, just wanted to make sure wires were right didn't think ant would make that difference but got it all hooked up, ran rcas and remote wire also for when install amp next week, for people who ran an amp did u go right from speakers or tap into the harness, I know doors can be tricky but I've seen posts how to do it
