Reverse Camera
Trying to figure out which wire is positive in my reverse lights for my backup camera. I have a 2004 350z. Idk if I'm posting in the right part of the forums. New here.

I don't have a voltmeter just yet, I'm installing this thing myself cause I didn't wanna play 200 dollars to have it done. Either way, I've read that it's a white wire with green on it, but I wasn't gonna risk it. I'm just not 100% sure how to use a voltmeter really, like how do I tap the wires with it without splicing or having any wire show?

This is an old thread, but in case someone else finds this useful...
On my 2004 350Z enthusiast, the reverse light power wire (+) is light green. In my case I tapped into it after removing the panel from back-right corner of the trunk.
It's the same color wire on the back-left side. For the negative, there's a nice ground point you'll find behind the back panel.
