Thumbs up Installation..... COMPLETE!!!

WOW!!!

I felt it was going to sound good... But I am BLOWN away! I spent @ 2 hours tweaking the system thru my headunit for "optimum performance" (sub-level, EQ, bass, mid, etc) and I must say that after nearly 3 years, it has been worth the wait. I live by a saying... "No Regrets" And I wanted system from the very start, but not as bad as in the past. When I truly decided to move forward with the install, I promised myself that I would do it right and I had a vision of a "simple & elegant" install... kinda like my whole car.
Ladies and gentlemen... I have achieved just that.

I'd like to extend a few well deserved thanks:
Mike (mlg9770) - for the awesome box.
chapparo78 - for reffering me to "G".
"G" - for the great install and amp rack/enclosure!
Adam - for the stunning alarm system.
Nick - for an incredible paint job on my box!

karmstro - Sound Quality for my Elemental Designs are great to say the least! The SPL levels are impressive as well. I wanted more "across the spectrum" sound quality as I listen to Salsa, House, Jazz, Rock, and Hip-Hop. The subs are hitting hard pretty low but not to the level of say JL W7. But don't get me wrong... I can be heard coming up the street!

TxTitan - Thanks

If you live in or near the DFW area you need to go to my friend "G" to do the install. He has been doing custom installs for over a decade and has done several 350Z, including mine and Marcus (TXSTYLE). You can get with either Marcus or myself to get his info. I heard Marcus's car first hand and it sounds great.

TXSTYLE not sure if you would know, but, how would you compare the ED to the W3's and W6's?? Your subs are the O-series not the K-series correct?? What kinda of power are you sending them as well??

Thanks man, I just can't pick a sub!!! lol

P.S. Looks DAMN good!!

Thanks. Yes mine are the O series. I am running 400w to each sub from my Avionixx 800.2 amp
They sound just as good as any JL W6 I have heard.
Elemental designs have one of if not the best warranty in the industry: 3 years on amps & speakers.

Very nice and clean!!! Couple questions, is that the mdf floor board underneath the plexi? I really can't tell from the pics. If it is, I would paint or mirror it and add a couple bright blue led's to accent. What color did they paint the box? Your car color looks like Liquid Aluminum. Did they paint it the same color? I'm just wondering because Liquid Aluminum is a three stage paint and cost mucho dinero. Once again, it looks nice and clean!!!

Thanks! The MDF has this white w/ black speckles type of paint on it. Doesn't look bad at all in person, but I was out today wiping it down, and I too thought of another color or possible mirror finish. I am waiting on WHITE neon to come in.
This is a 03' Chrome Silver Performance. But due to the extreme paint pampering it receives... It's been mistaken for LA.

I've been PM'ed by a few people regarding my alarm. For security reasons, I choose not to divulge my particular make/model, absolutely nothing personal. I can say that it did have that option, which I chose not to hook up. But... I notice that the remote has gotten alot of attention. Almost any high-end alarm brand carries an LCD remote similar to this including: Clifford, Compustar, Viper, etc.

Oh... And I can't tell you how EXTATIC I am about having XM!!!

Commercial-Free digital music? It's like friggin crack!

By the way, I went with Terks "micro antenna" it is the smallest on the market. Only @ 1" long and .5 thick. I mounted it right inside the windshield on the passenger-side dash. Can't even notice it and reception is outstanding.
