I would love to have McIntosh in my home system, but to have one in my Z? Kwame, your system is definitely one to be respected. My hat is off not only to your attention to component choice detail, but also to the meticulous time and effort you and your installer have put into component placement. You have definitely achieved aesthetic nirvana, I can only imagine what it sounds like.

Well that came with the car since I ordered the factory navigation way back when. However, you can go to your local dealership and order the same finishing piece and the brackets that secure the factory navigation dvd player to the body of the car.

Noah, thanks for the kind words. I might have to take you up on your previous offer, I would like to see just how loud this thing is.

I only have one pic of what you are looking for right now. Let me know if you would like another I can take one in my driveway.

Default Door Build

A got a bunch of PMs asking about the 3-way components/pod set built into my doors so I figured I might as well share with everyone.

The tunnels pictured behind the door skins are fiberglass enclosures for the 6.5" woofers which brace them against the door skin to improve the sound quality drastically.

I refuse to pull the wool over anyones eyes. I am not capable of even thinking of an idea like that. The bald scottish guy with the rolled up sleeves is the mastermind behind the entire project. I just picked out the equipment.
