there are a lot of dmapening products, from dynamat, raammat, second skin, etc etc, i use Edead, and their new thick version is simply awesome...
www.edesignaudio.com you can purchase direct. i would say a single roll of the thick stuff is enpough to do both doors and some other problem areas like the hatch...

becuase the door pod i fabricated attaches itself to the plastic door panel, and not to the metal door panel itself. so anyhting htatwould vibrate is the plastic panel, and any thing buzzing is the door panel rubbing against the metal, so a layer on the plastic door is the best way to go for this instance.
in general, i dampen whic ever panel the speaker physically sits on

having a second speaker upfront increases output, but not really staging or imaging, for best staging and imaging, stick to a single pair upfront but in a ZR, volume is more cricitcal

Nice install Bing, I have a roaster myself, so i understand the challenges on a ZR... I however am using 1 set of Diamond components, and they're more than antiquate loudness wise, even unamped (and yes, the top is down )... Good job though, always nice to see your installs.
