I really want a D3. Would I have to replace the speakers right away? If so, could I just run it off the stock amp? I figure you might know this, sorry if its off-topic. Thanks.
If you want a D3 new, you better get one soon, Pioneer is doing the rebate to clear house. Once their gone. their gone.

http://my350z.com/forum/audio-and-video/278145-avic-d3-install-guide.html It can be done but you won't get the best sound. And as Ichigo might want to hurry up. I ordered mine from Crutchfield.com. Came with everything I needed to do the install. They are also offering a free XM tuner with purchase!

Nice. Post some pics after the install. Are you doing it yourself?
Thanks. I originally was going to install it myself but I'm lazy. Dropping the car off Tuesday to get everything installed. Also bought a Clifford alarm while they do the install.

I run one of the JL Audio Base Knobs with my setup... what a beautiful thing. Back in the day we used to mount our crossovers up front so we could have as much control as we do with a single knob these days.

just be warned the base knob isnt a gain control its a base boost, ie its a good way to blow your subs.
that was fast! nice. did you do the bypass on the D3? How is the glare in direct sunlight while looking at the screen? I'm about to pull the trigger and get one.
