My Kenwood DDX812, KNA-G510, RF T1001bd, T212D system!!!!
So I had a system sittin in the garage for a while and decided to go to home depot, build a box, and install the whole shabang. So I have a Kenwood DDX812 in-dash DVD player/Nav Receiver. The GPS is run by the Garmin KNA-G510. System is powered by T1001BD mono Rockford Fosgate amp. The beast of a sub is the Rockford Fosgate T212 1 ohm speaker. I need to get some components so suggestions are accepted. Oh and right now my box is unported and I was thinkin about doing two tube ports so my lows can be louder. Looking for you guys' opinion on that. Anywho... this is my first time installing all this stuff so don't go too hard on me lol. Here's some pics.
I'm going to sand down this dash and get it painted PPW cause this POS rubber keeps flaking off....
DVD
Nav
Sub Box wrapped in leather with some cushion lol... I wanted it to be low key as possible. A lot of thieves in Atlanta.
AMP
Custom start up screen.
Thanks. I finally got the correct file. The first one that was sent to me was bad, so it didn't matter what I tried, it wouldn't work. Not to mention that the instructions from Kenwood were completely bogus. I'm in good shape now. It's just time for a new photo.

Good stuff man. Well glad I could be of any help. Let me know how that goes for you and post some pics.
It sounds clean but I want it to hit harder... hence me thinking about porting the box or building another one that will actually go down to the tire well from there for more air space and keep the port hidden. What ya think?
Im in the ATL and we can meet up sometimes. I have a kenwood 4 channel powering 4 infinity kappas and the sound quality is great. I have a sony mono amp powering a single jl sub but my trunk rattles too much. I need to find that dang rattle
i was thinking of doing a box like yours but cant decide if i want the ports up in the cabin next to the sub or coming out under the strut bar firing into the trunk

Well I just ordered some 5" port tubes. They should be here in a week or so. I'm planning on placing them in the back firing towards the trunk. I'll let you know how it hits.

Yeah I'm at Georgia State but I'm always in the Kennesaw area. Just checked in South East and they're having a meet at the hooters off 41 on the 27th. You should roll though.
Does anyone know the part number to the GPS door flap for an 06' 350Z. Mine was in mint condition until after I got my car back from the mechanic. Now, that flap is all scratched up.!!!!!
