Good speaker setup?
I tried looking and I give up, I'm posting.
I want decent bass without spending an arm and a leg. I like listening to my music and sometimes when I'm shredding through traffic like a bat out of hell, I want it kind of loud. I'm joking, I live in Los Angeles were traffic means parking lot. Anyways, what are the suggestions? I am only looking at speakers/tweeters right now, not subs. I am a complete noob to audio systems.
Thanks.

Thank you for the recommendation! Much pricier than I expected, though. Is there anything else that I could look at that people are really happy with?

You would be amazed what one 8" sub with a small (300 watt amp) can do because you'll never get "decent" bass out of 6.5" unless you are willing to do some kick panels with high end mid-bass drivers.
For 6.5" I've had good luck with Polk's MM series. For my Z I'm putting Infinity Kappas in my doors this weekend.

I am running some Boston speakers, they sound very good. Wish I could remember the types. I will see if I have that info when I get home. After putting them in a decided I didn't need a sub.

I would say 120 for a pair is as high as I am willing to go.
I wish I knew more about speakers so that I knew what I was looking at. For the most part I just compare the numbers.
